1989 Toyota Land Cruiser BJ71

For sale is a 1989 Toyota Land Cruiser BJ71. The 70 series Land Cruiser replaced the 40 series in 1984 but we unfortunately never got to see any of them in the states back then. The 70 series platform is still used and sold in most of the world today! Currently the cruiser has 269,332kms which comes out to just under 167k miles and a clean Idaho title. This short wheel base 70 series is a special little on and came with a 13bt engine paired to a h55 5spd transmission. The 13bt is a 3.4 liter 4cyl turbo diesel. It is a very stout little engine that rarely asks for anything and continues to be a favorite among cruiser heads worldwide. The h55 transmission is another fan favorite. This combo is my personal fav that could have come in a short wheel base 70. This cruiser has been lifted on old man emu suspension along with a set of man-a-fre anti inversion shackles with greasable pins. This cruiser also has a factory limited slip differential in the rear. It currently sits on a set of fairly new 5 factory 16x6 70 series steelies (no longer in production) and a set of 235/85r16 Falken Mud Terrains that have about 500 miles on them. (The spare has not been thrown into rotation yet.) The truck got a fresh alignment after the new tires were installed as well. The 13bt's original turbo has been upgraded to a GTurbo and there is a egt gauge and boost gauge in place of the factory altimeter/inclinometer. (I still have the factory gauge) The radio has also been swapped out for a pioneer double din with car play. The rooftop tent is a no name remake of a roofnest falcon and has the factory mattress included.

Overall this cruiser is in wonderful shape with extremely minimal rust. There are a few small spots along the bottom of the rain-gutter that I have treated and would recommend the next owner continue to keep an eye on but there is nothing in need of immediate attention or with any rot. The paint and graphics kit are original and in pretty great shape. There is a decent bit of rock chips and little patina bits, but the single stage paint still shines up very nicely. I can send more photos of anything any potential buyer would like to see or facetime with you at your convenience. The interior is in really good shape but there are a few small cracked plastics. (Primarily the bottom of the steering column clam shell and a small one on the driver door card pocket.) The seats are in really great shape with minimal bolster wear. Sadly the floor mats are not original but the passenger and rear seats have "Toyota" floor mats. The drivers floormat is a generic rubber mat that fits decently well. Lastly, I do also have a set of rocksliders for the car that will come with it if you want them or I can install prior to purchase. (Simply haven't had time to install.)

This Cruiser is ready for adventure. Last month it took a trip out to Glacier National Park and back without a hiccup. 4wd works wonderfully. I. have two factory keys, jack, tool kit, and all glass is in good shape. I'm happy to meet a buyer at the Spokane airport if you would like to drive it home and I can also arrange shipping at your cost if you desire. Asking $24,500 OBO, feel free to give me a ring at 2082711011 with any questions you may have or shoot me an email at graftonpannell@gmail.com. Thanks for taking a look!
