1996 Toyota Land Cruiser

1996 Toyota Land Cruiser

Yet again, here is another 80 series cruiser! This Land Cruiser is one of the only cars I’ve had the privilege to own more than once. I took this truck back in on trade for the 99 100 series posted here because the previous owner needed a 3rd row. This particular 80 series was originally sold as a bit more of a base model cruiser. This means that it had the not so common cloth interior and even more rare, non slider back windows. This is because this truck never came with a 3rd row. The black paint unfortunately had been resprayed, but black was a fairly uncommon factory color for the 80 series. This 80 had 257k miles and was well kept for most of its life in the warmer southern Idaho climate which means it has 0 rust. Here are some photos!

While this truck was back in the care of The Dirt Tourist, all of the window trim was replaced with some fresher black trim, the front bumper was swapped for a take off in better condition, and some Method Race Wheels were added for a bit of a tougher look. Sporting 33” tires on factory height suspension, I love the low slung look and it drives wonderfully.

This truck is off with its new owners down in Spokane, WA and I’m excited to see it still rolling around the region!
